What’s Going on with Revisions’ Interiors by Rebecca

I can’t believe I started this business almost nine months ago! When this fever dream evolved, I had every intention of being busy. On January 1, I sat down to review my business plan. On my plan one of my projected goals was to have my first client by August 1.2024. As of today that hasn’t happened. I am surprised and I am feeling somewhat defeated at different times if I’m honest.

Since I have chosen to present the failure first, I probably should also share the good parts too. On my business plan I had nine projected goals. I have met seven of those goals. When my husband insisted that I create a business plan I thought “really”. I’ve had this business thriving in my head for years. Do I really need A business plan on top of all the little big things I’m expected to do to legally have this business? My husband kind of insisted.

As I review the goals on my plan, I can see the work I have put in and that counts for something.

The idea of writing an entry related to the business was added to my business plan in October 2024. The goal being that I will start an entry each month starting 2025. Clients or not, I decided that as a way to creatively stay acute I would begin to share interior dressing ideas on my website.

My first entry into what I will call for now The Vision actually began to take shape in June 2024……...............................................
